Let’s be honest; designing with fonts can be really overwhelming.

The number of fonts available are crazy and sometimes it’s hard to know how to lay them out in a way that’s eyecatching and capitvating. Afterall, text is like the cherry on top of your image. Your design is whats going to get people to stop, the headline is what’s going to get them to click. You can’t have one without the other.

As always, it’s easier to show than tell so check out my favorite super EASY techniques for making your text stand out.

Wow, this is awesome Tara! Your baby seems so peaceful so cute. Thanks for doing this. I am really newbie barely working to start a blog. You mentioned about a Folder with your free fonts, con those be added to Canva? IF so, how? Or how do you use the free ones? I will be busy tonight checking the resources place and your videos. Thanks again.

Hey Janise! When I mentioned a folder I keep for my fonts I meant on my computer (although since moved to google drive because it was taking up a lot of space on my mac!) You can upload fonts and select ones to use for your brand in the “Your brand” section of Canva however this is only for paid accounts (So if you have the free version of Canva, you can’t upload any extra fonts. Canva has a lot of free ones to choose from though!) Also, thank you so much- my daughter is super easy going which is helpful when she crashes my videos LOL 😀
